1. Purpose and context

4Sight Education Ltd provides software and training to schools and colleges. We process personal data relating to children and young people through the VESPA Academy platform, but we do so as a data processor acting on the instructions of the school or college (the data controller). We are not generally in direct or unsupervised contact with children; the platform is accessed by learners through their own institution, which retains responsibility for safeguarding within its setting.

3. Reporting concerns

Any safeguarding concern that comes to our attention through our work will be reported promptly to the relevant school or college's Designated Safeguarding Lead, and to the appropriate authorities where required. Staff must raise any concern immediately with the Director.

4. Responsibilities

The Director holds overall responsibility for safeguarding matters within 4Sight Education Ltd.

5. Review

Reviewed annually, or sooner on material change.
